Curtis Eaby was elected by the congregation of Apostolic New Life Center to serve as their pastor in April 2006.  He was raised in Southern Maryland and is excited to have the opportunity to serve the spiritual needs of his community.  Pastor Eaby is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and has held various positions at the district and local level.

In addition to answering his call to the ministry, Pastor Eaby served twenty-years as a career firefighter with the Prince George's County Fire/Emergency Medical Services Department, retiring in June of 2008.  During his tenure with the Prince George's County Fire/Emergency Medical Services Department, Pastor Eaby was promoted six times, retiring at the rank of major.  He worked in fire/rescue operations, training, information management and special operations.  He was also awarded the Department's Gold Medal of Valor in 1998 for rescuing a firefighter trapped within a burning building.

Pastor Eaby is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland University College majoring in Human Resource Management with a minor in Fire Science Management.

Pastor Eaby and his wife Schrilla, have one child, Rachel.  Rachel is currently enrolled in college seeking a degree in nursing.
